About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Marketing & Public Relations Director to lead our external communications, media relations and online presence. This role is responsible for enhancing the brand’s reputation, developing marketing campaigns and building strong relationships with media, stakeholders and the public. The ideal candidate is fluently bilingual (English and Chinese), with exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the latest social media trends, web development, branding and both global and local media landscapes.

What you'll do

Continuously develop our visual and verbal brand definition

Develop our online presence through our websites and social media channels

Assist our distribution partners including our internal sales teams with impactful marketing campaigns

Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to support business objectives as well as crisis management plans.

Serve as a spokesperson and manage relationships with media and press.

Oversee the creation of press releases, speeches, interviews, posts and other PR content.

Monitor media coverage, public sentiment and website / social media channel traffic; provide regular reports to leadership.

Collaborate with 3rd party brand agencies.

Manage external PR agencies and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

10+ years of Marketing, PR or media experience.

Native-level fluency in English and professional level of Mandarin Chinese.

Excellent writing, storytelling, and public speaking skills.

Crisis management experience and ability to perform under pressure.

Preferred

Experience working in multinational corporations or public-listed companies.

Deep familiarity with social media, influencer marketing, and digital PR.

Background in manufacturing or B2B businesses
