What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney AutoAir is the Raytheon Technologies composite manufacturing center of excellence for aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) products and is a sourced supplier on several new engine programs with noteworthy growth in the coming years.

Cutting sizing and measuring state of the art composite materials in accordance withprocess sheet instructions.

Disassembly and assembly of aircraft components.

Manipulating state of the art materials by stretching and heating to secure material to form molds.

Performing composite and metal fabrication as well as finishing work within extremely tight tolerances to achieve required quality requirements.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical data.

Must be able to work any shift including first second third and / or weekends.

Possess basic computer skills excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position is for 3rd shift. Hours are Sunday - Thursday 10 : 00pm - 6 : 00am.

Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelors degree

3 months experience in manufacturing environment or completed A&P certification.

3 months experience with body work and painting machine metal and hand tools or with composite materials including fiberglass carbon fiber and Kevlar

3 months experience in welding and electronics

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
