Overview

Flexport is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Events Manager to support the planning and execution of high-impact events that elevate our brand and drive business results. This role is ideal for a hands-on events professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of managing logistics, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional event experiences. The Events Manager will play a key role in executing Flexport-hosted events, including our annual customer conference, and internal conferences.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution : Own the end-to-end execution of events, from initial planning through on-site management and post-event wrap-up.
• Logistics Management : Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, travel planning, catering, registration, shipping, and AV setup.
• Vendor Coordination : Manage external vendors and agency partners, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Budget Support : Assist in the development and management of event budgets, track expenses, and reconcile costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with teams across marketing, sales, product, and creative to align event strategy with business goals.
• On-Site Event Execution : Travel as needed to provide on-the-ground support and ensure smooth, high-quality event experiences.
• Brand Alignment : Ensure all event elements are on-brand, visually polished, and support Flexport's messaging and positioning.
• Post-Event Reporting : Support post-event debriefs, reporting, and analysis to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

The US base salary range for this position (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits) : $94,080 - $117,600 USD
