$65k-$72k + Bonus

JOB SUMMARY :

The Warehouse / Receiving Supervisor provides leadership and direction to all receiving team members, ensuring all operations align with safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness standards. Maintains accurate inventory of raw materials and warehouse organization. Manage communication and coordination with Plant Management, interplant teams, and external partners as needed. Lead the team to meet receiving objectives, ensuring all incoming orders / materials are processed in a timely manner and prepare inter-plant materials shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Proactively identify and quantify risks impacting material supply and subsequent fulfilment of customer orders.
• Be able to set up and run a pull system of inventory control.
• Collaborate with operations management to ensure proper inventory levels required to meet anticipated demand / monthly ship plan.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Perform any other additional duties assigned by the Plant Manager or upper management.
• Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials to production.
• Maintain organization in the warehouse
• Assign HOMEs for each material
• Plan and implement overall receiving strategies while identifying gaps in existing systems and processes, proposing solutions that improve operational efficiency and service to our customers.
• Effective leader with a sense of urgency, strong multitasking skills, able to organize, prioritize, delegate and ability to inspire a team to meet schedules & commitments.
• Supervise and oversee team members.
• Set and control schedules, temp labor, and labor costs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as warehouse workers, vendors, suppliers, carriers, etc.).
• Identify challenges and implement solutions / corrective action in a timely manner
• Actively participate in safety program and the daily enforcement of OSHA safety policies.
• Assure receiving documentation is accurate and submitted on time into accounts payable / finance
• Provide coverage in the absence of any receiving associates as needed
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings at shift start to communicate expectations and align team objectives
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
