Commissions Information Specialist

The Commission Information Administrator is responsible for managing carrier statement data received by the company, ensuring accurate collection, review, and entry into designated systems, while maintaining current carrier portal credentials and login information. Overview of Responsibilities

• Maintain and update a spreadsheet of all carrier portals, websites, and corresponding login credentials.
• Identify commissions received using daily EFT downloads and check deposit data.
• Download and organize commission statements from carrier portals, e-faxes, emails, and U.S. mail; ensure all statements are saved in the correct directory.
• Track carrier statements from deposit through completion.
• Investigate missing or unidentified statements and communicate with carrier representatives as needed.
• Reformat statements into Excel and create pivot tables for data analysis.
• Code commission statements by branch, group size, and product.
• Enter revenue into templates for upload into the general ledger.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Excellent customer service, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and sound judgment.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
• Ability to collaborate with programmers and understand system logic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, GAIT, and ICM is a plus.
• Physical requirements : ability to sit for long periods, lift up to 5 lbs, file, stand, bend, reach, and pull.
• Deposit & Invoice Validation
• Confirm commission deposits are received and accurately recorded.
• Review and validate invoices against deposit records.
• Extract and organize data from PDFs and Excel files.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
• Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to analyze and reconcile data.
• Match invoice amounts to corresponding policy numbers and client names.
• Generate reports to support revenue tracking and forecasting.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westlake Village, CA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.
