The Student Creative and Media department is currently seeking a Student Graphic Design Intern to join their team of professionals. Duties include :
Design marketing collateral for assigned accounts, using the latest in Adobe Software Collateral designed includes, but is not limited to (flyers, brochures, posters, banners, T-Shirts, Stickers) Work with vendors to secure quotes / invoices for orders Meet with student organization accounts to go over any questions / concerns about projects Work with design team and Creative Director to adhere to the quality of work that the office is known to generate Will be asked to handle photography for certain events (Equipment provided) Must have working knowledge of adobe Photoshop and illustrator Minimum Qualifications
Requires prior completion of FIU Service Excellence training or completion within first 30 days. Ability to work in a team setting. Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of PC operations and specialized software. Ability to take direction and work independently as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information. Student Assistant Student Disclosure
Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated. Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.
