About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of its high-growth, acquisition-driven business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including controller and FP&A functions, and will play a key role in supporting acquisition due diligence and post-merger integration. The CFO will be instrumental in improving financial reporting and analytics to drive data-informed decisions, managing inventory and operational efficiencies across multiple sites, and supporting the development of junior finance team members. This role demands a collaborative, self-motivated individual with a strong leadership presence, comfortable with data-driven decision-making, and experienced in managing a leveraged balance sheet within a multi-site environment. Key challenges for the CFO include managing ongoing integration across systems and teams, building financial sophistication across the business, and driving performance while scaling operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in value-added distribution or manufacturing, with prior experience in CFO or VP of Finance roles in private equity-backed businesses. Expertise in M&A, due diligence, and integration is essential, as is a proven track record in businesses with $50M+ revenue and multi-site complexity. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who is comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments and is adept at influencing cross-functional teams.
