Chemical Engineer

Job Overview :

Search Solution Group is seeking a Chemical Engineer on behalf of our client, a chemical manufacturing company specializing in specialty fluorochemicals and related products. This role is essential for owning and optimizing production processes, leading cross-functional initiatives, and implementing continuous improvement projects. The Chemical Engineer will play a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and technical innovation within the facility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own and manage specific chemical processes from start to finish
• Design, plan, and optimize production processes across batch and continuous operations
• Coordinate and implement small-scale projects and process improvements
• Analyze production data and prepare actionable insights and recommendations
• Support cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and production goals
• Apply methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM to drive efficiency
• Utilize tools such as DCS Systems, PI ProcessBook, and Minitab to monitor performance
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety when handling hazardous materials and working in hazardous environments
