Orthopedist / Physician Medicine and Rehab (PMR) Physician Colorado Springs CO

2-day work week (Mon and Tuesdays)

We are looking for an Orthopedist / Physician Medicine and Rehab (PMR) Physician to join our medical practice part time in Colorado Springs CO. We are looking for a BC physician to join our dedicated healthcare team in providing high quality care in our office that focuses on knee / joint dysfunction and pain. The job duties require performing focused orthopedic / musculoskeletal evaluations of patients, ordering, and reviewing of diagnostic testing, and joint injections (Knee). This position offers an excellent work life balance with no call, no nights or weekends, 2-day work week (Mon and Tuesdays) within a great work environment and great support staff! The incoming physician preferably has experience with knee injections / viscosupplementation (preferably fluoroscopy guided) and we will provide training. We are flexible in our need and will consider a range of specialties for the position to include Orthopedists, Pain management physicians, ER, PM&R / Physiatrists, Occupational medicine, FP / IM and Sports Medicine Physicians.

Duties :

• Patient exam / evaluation (ortho / MSK focused -medical history, HPI, review pertinent records / imaging / reports)
• Order and review diagnostic imaging as needed
• Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
• Follow the protocol to learn safety, efficiency, and care plans
• Patient education as to diagnosis and care plan
• Referral to therapy and other resources as deemed medically necessary
• Treatment- Knee injections / Viscosupplementation
• Documentation- timely and accurate
• Collaboration with the other healthcare providers for comprehensive care
