AC, Heating & Refrigeration Technology Instructor (Continuing Education)

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this full-time position. The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology curriculum provides the basic knowledge to develop skills necessary to work with residential and light commercial systems. Topics include : heating and cooling theory electricity, controls safety air conditioning furnaces heat pumps tools and instruments In addition, graduates should be able to assist in the start-up, preventive maintenance, service, repair, and / or installation of residential and light commercial systems. Qualified candidates will possess : excellent computer skills demonstrate evidence of a career that includes flexible work experiences and willingness to change open-mindedness, fairness, and the ability to see multiple perspectives willingness to take and manage risks willingness to accept responsibility for professional and personal growth. Note : This position may be required to teach evening / night classes. Extensive experience, well documented in the application packet, or NC Heating / Air Conditioning License may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. Preferred : Three-five years experience in the field. Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college.
