Overview :
As LHH continues to grow, we’re excited to introduce a new opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage multi-state payroll for 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy in wage updates, benefit deductions, tax reporting, and garnishments. You’ll also support HR and accounting functions, maintain personnel records, and contribute to a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities :
Process weekly payroll and export data to accounting systems
Manage wage changes, deductions, bonuses, and garnishments
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll and tax regulations
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate payroll and personnel records
Prepare certified payroll and union reports
Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts
Assist with audits, employment verifications, and HR reporting
Support additional HR and accounting administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring :
Proven experience in payroll processing
Solid understanding of payroll / accounting procedures and multi-state tax laws
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, and Apple devices
Experience in the construction industry preferred
Familiarity with Paychex Flex or Sage 300 CRE is a plus

Pay Details : $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
