Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety, comfort, and timely recovery. This role involves monitoring patients' vital signs, providing patient education, and delivering care to ventilator-dependent patients. The Registered Nurse will work closely with the anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities : \nEnsure patient safety and comfort for individuals recovering from anesthesia.^Continuously monitor patients' level of consciousness and vital signs during the recovery phase.^Provide reassurance and education to patients and their family members about the recovery process.^Assess patients' condition, deliver care to ventilator-dependent patients, and monitor post-operative dressings.^Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and uphold confidentiality of patient information.^Follow Infection Control guidelines, Standard Precautions, and OSHA standards to ensure a safe healthcare environment.^Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best care for patients during recovery.
