Job Description

As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for the deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms. This involves a thorough cleaning process that typically takes 20-30 minutes per room. You will be required to make the bed, flip the mattress, and disinfect the entire room. Additionally, you will handle linens by placing them into a large, heavy bag and disposing of them appropriately. Part of the role includes cleaning Isolation rooms, which necessitates following strict safety protocols, mopping with a string mop, and ensuring the room is thoroughly cleaned.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms within a 20-30 minute timeframe.
• Make the bed, flip the mattress, and thoroughly clean and disinfect the entire room.
• Handle and dispose of linens by placing them in a heavy bag and sending them down the shoot.
• Clean Isolation rooms by adhering to strict safety measures and ensuring thorough cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50 / hr.
