Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN assists with patient care, monitors health status, administers medications, and maintains accurate patient records. This role ensures high standards of patient care and supports the smooth functioning of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.

Prepare and maintain patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.

Accurately maintain patient records, charts, and reports.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited program.

1-3 years of clinical experience preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care.
