Join Litehouse as a Machine Tech I (Operator)!

Location : 1109 N Ella Ave Sandpoint, Idaho 83864

Shift : Monday through Friday, 2pm-10 : 30pm, overtime as needed on Saturday.

Starting Pay : $19.06 / hr

Additional Pay : 2nd shift is $1.50 / hr , 3rd / D / C Shift is $3 / hr

The Machine Technician I operates a minimum of one production machine in an area or department and performs basic preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

  • Operate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products.
  • Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
  • Perform changeovers and washes that meet or exceed specifications.
  • May be responsible for breaking co-workers.
  • Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
  • Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.

  • Perform basic maintenance / controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
  • Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds.

    • What You Bring

  • High School Diploma / GED Strongly Preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined preferred.
  • Fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and / or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language.
  • Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.
