Mental Health Counselor

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan provides rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Spinal Cord Injuries and Neurological Disorders.

Summary : The Mental Health Counselor provides oversight of behavioral therapies across the company and works alongside the management team to develop new programs and expand current programs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on persons served residing within the program.
• Develop and manage comprehensive behavioral approaches and behavioral plans for persons served.
• Provide training to management team direct care staff etc. as needed on the implementation and documentation of behavioral plans.
• Provide behavioral services representation at person served team meetings.
• Monitors behavior plan goals and submits progress reports on behavior therapy to billing department.
• Attend appointments as needed and communicate with person served team.
• Provides after-hours on-call services if needed for persons served having behavioral issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Approximately 20-30 hours / week
