What this job involves :

This position manages comprehensive mail and shipping operations for employees and multi-tenant office buildings ensuring efficient collection sorting and distribution of internal and external correspondence. Youll serve as the central hub for all mailroom operations while providing exceptional customer service to employees across various departments and building tenants. This role combines hands-on mail processing with technology operation and vendor coordination directly supporting daily business operations and maintaining seamless communication flow throughout JLLs facilities.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Collect sort and distribute in-house mail for employees and multi-tenant office building occupants

Process all outgoing mail in compliance with Post Office and vendor regulations while managing incoming shipments for all departments

Operate postage machines overnight carrier systems Pitney Bowes software meters scales forklift and pallet jack equipment

Drive company van for mail pickup and delivery routes as needed

Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with various teams employees at all levels and external vendors

Manage receiving operations for shipments and coordinate with departments for timely distribution Work flexible schedule including 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm coverage one day per week with 30-minute lunch break

Required Qualifications :

Valid Florida drivers license with good driving record

Ability to frequently lift at least 50 pounds and support up to 250 pounds using pallet jack and hand trucks

Strong oral communication and customer service skills

Physical ability to perform walking and stair climbing as part of daily duties Basic computer skills including electronic mail and word processing

Availability to work flexible schedule including early morning coverage

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external vendors

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous mailroom or shipping experience

Experience with various software applications including messaging and spreadsheet programs

Familiarity with overnight shipping software systems

Customer service experience in corporate or multi-tenant environments

Experience operating mail processing equipment and postal software

Knowledge of postal regulations and shipping compliance requirements

Background in warehouse or distribution operations
