Job Title : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location : Millville, NJ

Shift : Day Shift | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will assist occupational therapists in providing high-quality therapy services that promote patient independence, functional improvement, and quality of life in a skilled nursing or rehab environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing patient-specific treatment plans.

Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to improve strength, coordination, and mobility.

Observe and report patient progress and responses to therapy.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.

Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and assistive devices.

Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and ethical standards.

Qualifications :

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of New Jersey.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Passion for helping patients regain independence and improve daily functioning.
