Landscape Designer

As a member of the Land Design / Landscape Architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused practice. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, and permit applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in an interactive studio environment throughout all project phases.
  • Plan and design landscape projects with precision and creativity.
  • Prepare construction and planting plans and specifications.
  • Conduct studies and generate reports relevant to landscape design.
  • Estimate project costs accurately.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D software.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • 2+ years of landscape design experience.
  • Experience in planning, design, and construction plans.
  • Strong project planning skills.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university or college.
  • Licensure preferred or actively working towards licensure / PLA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working under a Professional Landscape Architect.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow with a desire for career development.
  • Work Environment

    This is an in-office position located in Savannah, GA, with work hours from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM on Fridays.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00 / yr.
