Full-Time : Insurance Collector Specialist

Job Summary :

The Collector will be responsible for working the facilities A / R report and collecting money due from the Insurance Company. Fighting for reimbursement of claims processing.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• If billing information in Advantx system is not correct, pull patient chart and make the necessary changes. Correct rejection errors in Zirmed / Waystar.
• An extensive knowledge of claims, reimbursement and collection efforts for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, Commercial plans, etc.
• Answers and directs incoming calls in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
• Contact clients and collect outstanding payments.
• Attends BO meetings, center staff meetings and participates on any committees when requested.
• Practices and adheres to all Policies & Procedures set by SSC & USPI / Tenet.
