Job Summary : We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst with expertise in Biotech R&D data. The ideal candidate will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making in research and development. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate data capture, analysis, and use, optimizing innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure accurate data collection, storage, and integration across platforms.
  • Analyze biotech R&D data, document requirements, and develop IT solutions.
  • Create and maintain system integrations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support bioinformatics and R&D applications, including LIMS and ELN.
  • Design and implement business intelligence solutions aligned with R&D goals.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and automate KPI reports for biotech research.
  • Serve as a liaison between R&D, IT, and business teams for data initiatives.
  • Lead or support data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications : Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

    • Experience :

  • 10 years as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably in biotech or pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven experience with biotech R&D data, including genomics and clinical trials.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (, JMP, Power BI).
  • Understanding of data management and cloud platforms (, AWS, Azure).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Knowledge of biotech regulatory compliance (, FDA, EMA) preferred.
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and data analytics.
