Serves as the subject matter expert for the leave of absence program in alignment and under the general direction and guidance of HR leadership and the legal department. Interprets and administers leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws. Works in partnership with a third-party absence management vendor and internal payroll department to ensure each leave case is managed correctly, communication to employee and manager is proactive, and employee receives accurate pay per applicable disability and time away policies. Assists with administration of benefit programs related to health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, company provided life insurance, optional life insurance, voluntary benefits, and long-term disability.
