About the role : The Parts Runner plays a vital role in supporting the dealership's service and parts operations. This position involves the timely and accurate delivery of parts to technicians, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the smooth flow of parts within the dealership.

Responsibilities
Parts Delivery :
Pick up and deliver parts and supplies to various departments within the dealership, including the service department and other designated areasEnsure parts are properly packaged and labeled for transportConfirm orders are placed in the correct staging zones based on shipping schedules, routes or carriersDeliver parts to technicians in a timely manner to minimize downtimeAssist in picking up and returning parts from local suppliers or other dealership locations as neededHelp with loading orders onto the delivery trucksInventory Management :
Assist with stocking and organizing parts shelves and binsHelp maintain accurate inventory recordsCross-check orders to confirm that all items, quantities and labels match shipping documentsEnsure that orders are packed and labeled correctlyIdentify and report any discrepancies or shortages in stockGeneral Support :
Assist with receiving parts orders and locating stockKeep the parts department clean and organized by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and dusting parts bins dailyAssist with other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager / SupervisorCustomer Service :
Provide friendly and efficient service to customers and techniciansAnswer phone calls and provide information as neededAssist customers with locating partsThe duties and responsibilities defined above are not an all inclusive list, but a general summary of typical duties. Requirements
