Anchor Bar Restaurant : Hiring for Host / Hostess & Take-Out
- Pay Rate : $8.00 per hour - $10.00 per hour

Position Summary :
The Host / Hostess & Take-Out team member is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role plays a key part in the overall guest experience at Anchor Bar, as it is the first and last impression of the restaurant. The Host / Hostess must go above and beyond to provide outstanding service, ensuring that guests feel valued and encouraged to return.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet guests with the proper welcoming phrase : “Hi, welcome to Anchor Bar, Home of the Original Buffalo Wing. How many in your party today?” For take-out, say, “How may I help you today?”Ensure all customers feel welcome, receiving friendly, responsive, and courteous service at all times.Deliver genuine hospitality to guests, aiming to establish emotional connections and enhance their experience.Collaborate with the management team on the seating management system, updating table availability and managing the bar and dining area effectively.Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations.Escort guests to their tables, engaging in polite conversation and delivering a great experience.Answer the telephone, addressing customer inquiries and needs effectively.Accurately take orders for takeout, either in person or over the phone, and package to-go food properly.Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.Communicate with managers and servers regarding table availability, updates, and special guest requests.Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas.Demonstrate professionalism and a gracious demeanor at all times.Complete all opening, daily shift checklist, and closing duties as assigned.Perform any other job functions requested by the management team.Qualifications :
