The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Disability Employment and Transitions Division.
This position provides guidance and counseling to individuals experiencing significant mental / behavioral health disabilities in achieving competitive integrated employment outcomes. Responsibilities include developing individual rehabilitation plans, counseling consumers on job and career development goals, providing on-site job coaching or assistive devises, approving, purchasing, and monitoring the quality of goods and services, and consulting and coaching Workforce partners, treatment teams, community rehabilitation providers, businesses, and other stakeholders on serving individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling.
Knowledge of assistive technology and disability rights, culture, and history.
Ability to be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide.
Skill in working with individuals with disabilities.
Ability to interpret and use medical and psychological information to make sound decisions.
Ability to be proactive, organized, and manage caseloads.
Meet minimum qualifications :
oMaster’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field with coursework eligible to sit for certification.
oTwo years of experience in rehabilitation counseling, career counseling, human services, or human resources.
oCertification by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is highly preferred.
oEquivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
