A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in 2.5 hours from Anchorage, Alaska.
About the Clinician's Workday
This role is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday or Friday, with a 40-hour workweek from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The caseload is typically 8-12 adult patients, primarily focused on chronic care management. DEA certification is preferred but not required. While there are no onsite physicians, support is available 24 / 7 by phone, and youll work closely with nursing staff and nurse supervisorsnever alone. Credentialing is quick, about one week, and the position is open to FM or IM providers.
