Location : Offshore-GOM (Gulf of Mexico)
Schedule : Full-time, Offshore rotational schedule : 14 days on, 14 days off
Pay / Salary : Competitive hourly rate, based on qualifications and experience
Classification : Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime
Job SummaryWe are hiring Offshore Production Platform Operators at multiple levels to support safe and efficient production operations on a deepwater subsea platform in the Gulf of Mexico . Operators will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of production equipment, subsea systems, safety systems, and utilities. Positions are available for candidates with varying levels of offshore and subsea experience.Position Levels & Responsibilities
Operator Level I – Entry-Level / Trainee
Ideal For : New to offshore or transitioning from onshore roles
- Assist experienced operators with monitoring and maintaining production and utility systems
- Learn basic operation of subsea and topside equipment
- Complete required safety and operational training (BOSIET / HUET, SafeGulf, etc.)
- Perform routine rounds, data logging, and support preventative maintenance
- Demonstrate strong safety culture and willingness to learn in a team setting
Requirements :
0–2 years offshore experienceMechanical or oil & gas background preferredValid TWIC, offshore medical, and BOSIET requiredOperator Level II – Intermediate Operator
Ideal For : Operators with working knowledge of offshore and subsea operations
Independently operate standard production systems (separators, pumps, compressors)Monitor subsea systems via the Universal Master Control Station (UMCS)Support start-up, shutdown, and production changes for wells and facilitiesTroubleshoot basic issues with instrumentation, flow assurance systems, and valvesAssist in training Level I operators and maintain operational documentationRequirements :
2–5 years offshore production experienceExperience with SCADA / DCS systems and subsea control interfacesWorking knowledge of safety systems, ESD, and chemical injectionOperator Level III – Senior Operator / Lead Operator
Ideal For : Highly experienced offshore operators with leadership ability
Oversee daily production operations including deepwater 20,000 psi subsea systemsLead platform crew during production activities, interventions, and emergency drillsInterface with onshore support, subsea engineers, and ROV teams during troubleshootingAnalyze trends in pressure, flow, and well behavior to proactively manage flow assuranceFunction as relief Production Supervisor during rotation as neededRequirements :
5+ years offshore production experience (subsea preferred)Strong background with multiphase flow systems, subsea tree operations, and boosting systemsLeadership, mentoring, and permit-to-work (PTW) experience preferredQualifications for all position levels
High School diploma or equivalentMust possess current offshore certifications (TWIC, HUET / BOSIET, SafeGulf)Comfortable working 14 / 14 rotational schedule in the Gulf of MexicoAdditional Requirements
Stable work historyMust be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not availableMust be able to pass a background check; drug and alcohol screeningMust have a valid driver’s license with a good driving recordMust be able to comply with customer site requirements for access / entryMust have a TWIC cardPhysical Requirements
