Role Description

Evaluate and treat pediatric and young adult clients using standard occupational therapy procedures. Implement programs designed to enhance motor, sensory, cognitive, feeding, and interpersonal skills of the patient in order to promote patient independence and productivity. Prepare treatment plans consistent with therapy goals and provides therapy from a variety of occupational therapy modalities. Document patient treatments, initial evaluation, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with established departmental policies and protocols. Maintain professional expertise through workshops, lectures, in-services, conferences, etc.

For this position, candidates should be driven, well-organized, self-starters, and team players. Experience working with feeding, sensory integration, and social skills are preferred, but not a requirement.

The position can begin as part time (20-30 hrs / wk) or full time (40 hrs / wk). Position would be at our Ann Arbor location. Schedule will be determined during hiring process with option to work four 10 hour days, or to spread hours across 5 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, or OTD
• Current Michigan License and member NBCOT
• Ideal candidate would have experience in outpatient pediatrics
