We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Lead Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position is tailored for an individual with a strong finance and data analysis background, preferably within healthcare. If you are passionate about using data to inform strategic decisions, this is the role for you. You will be instrumental in generating financial insights, supporting Medicare initiatives, and leading analytical projects that directly influence business outcomes.
Drive financial analytics projects, focusing on Medicare risk adjustment operation outcomes and initiatives.
Independently analyze historical and current data to uncover trends, formulate hypotheses, and conduct analyses to tackle business challenges.
Craft and run complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and examine data from large relational databases.
Utilize statistical techniques to assess program effectiveness and financial impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build financial models, forecasting tools, and performance dashboards.
Convert analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for finance and executive leadership.
Leverage your expertise to drive meaningful impact!
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial analytics, ideally in healthcare finance.
Advanced SQL skills with a strong background in handling large relational databases.
Analytical mindset demonstrated through the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Proactive, self-motivated, and possess a strong sense of ownership.
Team-oriented with a readiness to assist colleagues.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills to translate intricate data into straightforward, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Medicare Risk Adjustment programs and / or CMS datasets.
Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques.
Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and modeling purposes.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Travel : Remote position with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings.

Pay Range
$106,900 - $147,000 per year, subject to variation based on geographic location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, and other factors. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
