Family Medicine Physician

Job Title : Associate Program Director – Faculty for Mission Community Hospital Family Residency program.

Reports To : Program Director – Family Medicine Residency

Position Summary :

The Associate Program Director (APD) of the Family Medicine Residency Program supports the Program Director in the organization, implementation, and oversight of the residency program in compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards. The APD assists with resident education, faculty development, curriculum oversight, clinical teaching, scholarly activity, and continuous program quality improvement. This is a key leadership role that helps ensure the delivery of a high-quality residency experience and supports the development of competent, compassionate family physicians.

Key Responsibilities :

Educational Leadership :

• Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Family Medicine residency curriculum in alignment with ACGME Common Program Requirements and Family Medicine-specific requirements.
• Serve as a core faculty member and role model for professionalism, patient care, and lifelong learning.
• Provide direct supervision and instruction to residents in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
• Participate in didactic teaching, simulation training, and resident skills development.
• Facilitate competency-based evaluations and participate in the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC).
• Assist with recruitment, selection, orientation, and onboarding of incoming residents.

Pay : $270,000-$290,000 per year with opportunity to grow into a Program Director.
