Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Pediatrics Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 3 years required License : Valid nursing license required Certifications : BLS, PALS required; CPHON, NRP, OCN preferred Must-Have : - Flexibility to float to NICU and other units - Every other weekend availability - Experience with a 1 : 4 patient ratio - Previous charge experience required - Strong pediatric nursing experience required Description : This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics. Candidates with experience in Pediatrics MS1 / 5 are strongly preferred. However, strong candidates with experience in other pediatric settings will be considered. The role may require floating to the NICU as well as other floors or campuses, so flexibility is essential. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1 : 4. The ability to handle various pediatric cases is necessary, including but not limited to, administration of medications and care management for children. The facility requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and the ability to perform various nursing tasks, such as phlebotomy, IV management, and monitoring.
