Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for operations related to the final packaging or boxing of products, performing weekly cycle counts, coordinating material needs with shippers and receivers, and printing pick lists and work orders. This role requires following standard operating procedures and maintaining communication with various departments to ensure efficient material flow and quality upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform final packaging or boxing of products.
• Execute weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with shippers and receivers to coordinate material needs.
• Print pick lists and pick work orders.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with departments to understand material needs and flow.

Work Environment

Work shifts are from 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential Friday shifts as needed. The work environment is dynamic, involving material handling and warehouse operations, with a focus on collaboration and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
