Job Description : Typical Day in the Role Purpose of the Team : The purpose of this team is supporting the business aspects of a gaming studio in a large enterprise tech company. Key projects : This role will contribute to building business applications in python and javascript that accelerate work for the business team. The role will support the broader team by building web interactions, writing automation scripts that work with partner center teams to upload information such as game prices faster, writing automations that pull data from external sites APIs such as YouTube or steam, and additional ad hoc business support for the team. Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm : The role will consist of a majority of their time being spent heads down developing these apps. The role will have very little meetings, meetings will largely focus on showing off what they're building. Most days will start by adding functionality to existing apps, then the remainder of their time will be spent helping other teams. Candidate Requirements Years of Experience Required : 2-4 overall years of experience in the field. Degrees or certifications required : No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Disqualifiers : None. Best vs. Average : The ideal resume would contain previous experience with UI capabilities and an understanding of flow and best practices for UI since the role is building apps including the front end. Previous experience in the gaming industry is also nice to see. Performance Indicators : Performance will be assessed based on the quality of the applications that are built, and how quickly they're sent out and adopted for use internally.
