Job Description

McWane Poles :

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about working in an industrial setting, are self-motivated, and have a strong desire to troubleshoot and maintain critical production equipment. Applicants interested are expected to know the principles, values and behaviors of the McWane Compass.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform corrective repairs.
Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
Accurately document maintenance activities and maintain records.
Support production needs by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
Comply with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills :

Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V)

Familiar with PLCs and troubleshooting control systems

Proficient in mechanical systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors

Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to50 pounds regularly

Ability to stand, walk, and work in hot, cold, and noisy environments

Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights

Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) required
