Responsibilities :

Install and service fire alarm systems per NFPA codes and manufacturer specifications

Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e / 6, coax, etc.)

Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, data and other integrated systems

Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

Perform troubleshooting and system diagnostics

Ensure all work meets local, state, and national code requirements

Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements :

1–2 years of experience in fire alarm and / or low voltage system installation

Familiarity with major fire alarm brands (e.g., Silent Knight, Potter) is a plus

Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must live in the Austin, San Antonio or surrounding areas

Basic hand tools and PPE required

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

NICET certification or State of Texas FAL (Fire Alarm License), or willingness to test

Experience with access control and surveillance systems
