Provide direct patient care and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, in line with state practice acts. Train restorative aides to ensure continuity of care. Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Document evaluations, progress notes, and other required information in a timely and compliant manner. Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiving techniques. Facilitate discharge planning and recommend necessary durable medical equipment. Maintain departmental equipment in good working order and report any issues. Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California. New graduates are welcome to apply.
