Position Summary

The Senior Engineer within the Electrophysiology group is a technical leader and mentor within the Process Development team responsible for creating robust and sustainable manufacturing processes for medical components and devices. The Senior Engineer will provide the technical leadership for the development of products to production by working cross-functionally with an engineering team located both in Fridley, MN and Costa Rica.

What you’ll do everyday :

• Provide technical leadership in the execution of the process design, development activities for medical devices through the product development process within the Electrophysiology group.
• Independently determine solutions for complex problems, process selection decisions, and technical challenges.
• Utilize process characterization skills and tools such as Design on Experiments (DOE), DFM, and statistics to make data driven decisions.
• Create documents such as process validation protocols or engineering studies that demonstrate technical rationale for associated decision.
• Mentor other engineers and promote a culture of feedback.
• Lead efforts to investigate, develop, and implement new technology.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and operators to complete development builds and solve technical problems.
• Establish internal global or regional relationships and collaborate to ensure best practices are utilized.
• Other duties assigned as required.

The expected hiring range for this position is between $, and $, for either a Senior or Princiapl level Engineer, based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target of 10% for a Senior or 15% for a Principal, of base salary depending on company and individual targets. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a (k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
