About the Role
Join The Care Team as a Hospice RN and enjoy a unique 7-on / 7-off schedule!
In this after-hours role, you'll triage calls from home, coordinate care, and dispatch to patients as the need arises . Most of your time is spent remotely supporting families and staff, and you are not managing an ongoing caseload. This full-time salaried position includes full benefits and PTO while giving you extended time off every other week.
Schedule Highlights
- 7 days on, 7 days off (only 26 working weeks per year!)
- Evening / Night coverage from 4 : 30 pm-8 : 30 am and Weekends
- On call from home, responding in person only when needed

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :
Help optimize the capital structure and support strategic initiatives.Maintains the agency's mission, philosophy and core values.Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures regarding operations / processes, including but not limited to those regarding patient care, patient complaints, incidents, safety and emergency management.Always maintains patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations.Regulatory Requirements
Licensed or registered in the state in which he / she currently practices..Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check.Completed health statement acknowledging ability to perform the duties of the position.Valid state driver's license.Proof of current automobile insurance.Current CPR card; On-line CPR certification accepted; Hands-on CPR certification preferred.TB testing per agency policy; (1 or 2 step TB skin test within 12 months of hire & annual TB symptom screening thereafter).Industry experience
Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments. Ability to supervise others appropriately. Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting. Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes. Completes Hospice training program.Active patient contact within past three years, preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferredEDUCATION :
Graduate from an accredited school of nursingCurrently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
