job_description.job_card.job_descriptionB.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics or other life sciences related field required 2+ years of industry experience in R&D setting Extensive experience and expertise in molecular biology techniques and methodologies related to nucleic acids manipulation including DNA and RNA extraction, purification, and quality control assessments Proficiency in experimental design and optimization Excellent computer skills in Windows, MS Office, and other commonly used scientific software Experience with EH&S training and practice in industry setting Exceptional documentation and record-keeping skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Hands-on NGS experience is a plus Command line and programming skills are a plus
Job Description - Scientist II
You will work closely with a motivated team of dedicated scientists building, evaluating and developing novel wet-bench assays for molecular design and optimization, delivering differentiated molecules and accelerating the development of therapeutics across all modalities and indications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform DNA / RNA extraction, NGS library preparation, sequencing, and delivery of NGS data.
- Support the lab operations of the NGS core including reagent inventory and sample management.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of wet and dry lab scientists.
