Come join our team as a Market Analyst

SPP is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Analyst to support and enhance the operation of our electricity markets. In this dynamic role, you’ll leverage your expertise in market concepts and data analysis to drive efficiency, support daily market operations, and contribute to the development and implementation of key market initiatives and software.

The ideal candidate is an independent problem-solver who can manage complex cross-departmental projects, provide regulatory support, and actively engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders. This position also plays a crucial role in mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality market operations through process improvements and analytical rigor.

Work Environment :

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work :

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work week are Monday through Friday; 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.

Travel Requirement :

This position requires minimal travel (approximately 0-15%)
