Directional Drill Operator - Hdd

Omni Underground is rapidly expanding and hiring experienced Directional Drill Operators to lead and grow our HDD crews across California’s Central Valley.

Compensation : $25 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Operate  directional drilling equipment  (Vermeer or Ditch Witch)
• Read and interpret  utility prints , USA markings, and bore logs
• Install  conduit, fiber, power, gas, telecom, joint trench
• Coordinate with  Locators, Foremen, and Ground Laborers
• Maintain  jobsite safety , clean work environments, and equipment logs
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of HDD equipment
• Troubleshoot issues in real-time with locates or bore alignment
• Communicate effectively with the project management  and the field team
• Follow all OSHA, city, and company  safety regulations
