Buyer (Entry Level)

General Summary

Performs a variety of routine and / or low dollar value buying / purchasing tasks.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (

• Essential functions)
• Responsible for purchasing materials supplies and / or services for the company
• Reviews purchase requisitions
• Places orders for supplies etc. with approved suppliers
• May assist with evaluation of bids and / or recommend suppliers.
• May coordinate with accounting department as needed to resolve questions on suppliers invoices.
• Provides routine administrative support.
• May assist in research and negotiations with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications regarding minor purchases.
