About the Role
As the Project Accountant , you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of engineering projects from start to finish. Youll work closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to monitor budgets, manage billing cycles, and track costs across multiple active projects. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years of experience in project accounting (preferably within engineering, construction, or architecture), and a solid understanding of GAAP and job cost accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and experience with project management or accounting software (such as Deltek, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks) is essential.
