Summary

The Registered Nurse under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients needs with the nurse competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Education

Minimum : Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Preferred : Bachelors Degree

Experience

Preferred : Two years in acute care. Previous clinical nursing experience

Certifications / Licensure

Minimum : Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

Required Courses / Completions (e.g., CPR) :

1 yr experience) must have AWHONN

Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring on hire or within the first 90 days of hire,
