Community Manager

We are seeking a Community Manager to lead the on-site team and oversee daily operations at 416 on Broadway, a charming mixed-use apartment community in Glendale, CA. This individual will be responsible for the success of the property, ensuring smooth operations, strong financial performance, and an exceptional living experience for our residents and tenants. The Community Manager will supervise an Assistant Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to on-site team members.

Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial performance.

Maintain high occupancy and retention through creative marketing and sales initiatives.

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, company policies, and operational standards.

Prepare and manage operating budgets, financial reports, and expense controls.

Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.

Build meaningful relationships with residents, retail tenants, and local community partners.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of property management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role at a 150+ unit conventional apartment building.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AppFolio preferred.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong sales and marketing acumen with a creative, proactive mindset.

A positive “can-do” attitude and an ownership mentality—someone who takes pride in the property’s success as if it were their own.
