Forklift - Material Handler

Description :

We are seeking a reliable Forklift - Material Handler to assist with receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Unload trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment

Distribute packages and mail within the company

Store materials and components properly

Pull materials for manufacturing in a safe and timely manner

Update picking lists

Safely operate and inspect material handling equipment

Review inbound shipments, verify item quantities, and sign delivery documents

Note any discrepancies and notify the Purchasing Agent

Stock and restock materials in their proper warehouse locations

Load and unload trucks as directed

Conduct inventory counts and assist with physical inventory

Move materials in and out of designated work areas

Notify management of low or out-of-stock items

Label boxes, packages, and products according to picking instructions

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Report unsafe or inefficient conditions

Accurately complete all required paperwork

Education & Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Basic math skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)

Inventory control or management experience is a plus

ERP system experience (especially D365) is a plus
