Project Coordinator
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the Product Development - Customization team. The role is administrative in nature, involving project tracking, filing, calendar management, data entry, and reporting to keep the team on track for project timelines. The successful candidate will meet with project leads, check statuses, and proactively solve problems, while independently ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-functional teams including finance, purchasing, planning, program management, engineering, and manufacturing.
- Manage issues, timelines, and financials to develop programs on time and at targeted financials, supporting cost reduction initiative projects.
- Establish, publish, and manage project metrics to ensure quality execution.
- Track GPDS and process step progress and completion in line with approved project timing plan objectives.
- Lead Platform and Hardware / Software teams discussions using Accessory PAT forum, establishing agendas, minutes, and attendees.
- Support Program, Vehicle, Marketing, and Manufacturing forums for accessory development and delivery, providing status on projects.
- Coordinate action plans to resolve project issues, ensuring program deliverables are on track.
- Develop presentations to communicate deliverable status, identify issues, and present recovery plans.
- Support vehicle prototype planning and builds and launch milestones at assembly plants, if required.
- Coordinate accessory functional sign-offs from various functional teams.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, accepting process disciplines and prioritizing project management focus.
Essential Skills :
1-2 years of project management experience and administrative support experience.1-2 years of scheduling and tracking for agendas / projects.Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.Strong written and verbal presentation skills for management interaction and team facilitation.Self-motivation, open-mindedness, and teamwork capabilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Ford experience preferred.Experience with Ariba / Our Client Programs.Automotive experience.Hands-on knowledge of systems and processes like GPDS, FEDE, FEDEBOM, Global Integrator, CMF / CRF systems.Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00 / hr.
