We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Animal Care Technician to join our team and help provide exceptional care for animals in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act (AWA). Key Responsibilities :

As an Animal Care Technician, your role will involve a variety of duties that directly impact the health and well-being of the animals in your care. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Compassionate Animal Care : Provide love, care, and attention to all animals, ensuring they are treated with the respect they deserve.
• Feeding and Care : Prepare and serve meals, conduct feeding trials, and ensure animals always have access to fresh water.
• Sanitation & Safety : Keep animal enclosures clean and odor-free, while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Animal Enrichment : Help socialize, exercise, and provide olfactory / natural enrichment for dogs and cats.
• Health Monitoring : Observe and report animal behaviors, health conditions, and report any concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Daily Documentation & Reports : Accurately record animal information, complete necessary visual management charts, and contribute to daily huddles.
• Other Duties as Assigned : Assist with animal introductions, manage supplies, and help with the acquisition of new animals as needed.
