General Summary : To provide clinical mental health services, both psychotherapy and nursing

services along with consultation to staff and community agencies.

Schedule : Mon-Fri, First Shift

Location : Warwick, RI (On-site / Community-based)

Salary : Starting at $80,000- depending on experience

Essential Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments;
• Utilize comprehensive nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in direct client care.
• Monitor medication and administer injections with strict adherence to Thrive policy and procedure. Adjust monthly medication log according to doctor's medication orders.
• Monitor signs and symptoms of psychiatric functioning; monitor medication regimen; assist in community networking and education.
• Provide intake / assessment services and ongoing short term case management and psychotherapy services to adult outpatients;
• Consult / liaison with psychiatrist and / or medical doctors and other treatment staff;
• Provide individual, couple, family or group counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Provide referral consultation and education to the community regarding issues of chemical dependency and mental health.
• Provide chemical dependency and mental health consultation, education and training to Thrive personnel.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and / or insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with other providers, agencies and individuals in the client's network of care.
• Provide education, training and modeling in basic daily living skills, social or parenting skills.
• Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
• Coordinate services within Thrive as needed.
• Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
• Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage at all time.
• Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team members are required to transport clients and complete interventions in client homes and / or community care settings.
• Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive's Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.
