Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging hands-on instruction in HVAC systems maintenance troubleshooting and safety practices.
- Teach both classroom and lab-based courses following an established curriculum.
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance grades and student performance.
- Support a diverse student population with varying levels of academic and technical experience.
- Stay current with evolving HVAC technology and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure student success and program excellence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
Associate degree in HVAC Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field OR significant industry experience with relevant professional certifications.Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential commercial or industrial settings.EPA Section 608 Certification Required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.Must be authorized to work in the United States.
